I am a science graduate from Mysore University, graduated in the year 1970.

As a student of chemistry my first job was with a team of workers and a laboratory chief, in a Gold Assay, involving grinding of ore samples, treating them in a furnaces in two stages in the morning session and extracting the globules of gold and weighing them in a physical laboratory in the afternoon session and assessing the gold in the ridges from where the samples were mined so that it helps for carrying out regular mining operation.

My next job was in GKW Limited from the year 1970 to 1977 in their Industrial Engineering Department. All that I became later in my career is due the work in the formative years in this company, which in those days was called “Engineers’ Engineers”.

I joined Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited in the year 1977. My job commenced in the department of Organization & Methods on the strength of my experience in
Industrial Engineering in GKW Limited.

In a nutshell my career may be characterised as one of internal consultant in the area of Industrial Engineering, Organization & Methods, Management Information System, Incentive Scheme, HRD and now for the last ten years in the area of Management System Standards.
